The Chef

The Chef

A Winter Scene

The Chef was out shovelling snow today. He has done a lot of that this winter. Bosse was a truck driver for many years, working for the local flower freight company which meant delivering flowers from all the plant nurseries in Tungelsta to the wholesale distribution centre at Årsta in Stockholm. Before that he was a chef at sea, which sounds more exciting. The second photo shows the path he was shovelling and the house where he lives, I shot that photo a few winters ago.

A lot of work and a lot of heart attacks. You get a lot more snow than we get.

The chef could make an ice cave and turn his refrigerator off for the winter.

the first pic is great!!; did you ask him before or did you photograph him unnoticed? (just curious, as usual) the second is pretty!

I walked by, stopped when I noticed him, told him to start shovelling, which he was of course already doing. We then talked for maybe fifteen minutes about this and that. He doesn't have the interne, so I'm not sure if he will ever see this one.

We are supposed to get more snow on Fri but I hope not that much. The 2nd pic is unreal - snow can be so beautiful!

I've been watching all your snow photos. As beautiful as this must be, I am grateful that I live in this not very cold city.

An interesting story, it looks like you have had another big snow fall. I am heading to Europe in 5 weeks (Germany France) and hope to see snow... but I know you must be sick of it.
