That Old Tree

That Old Tree

I stopped by the old tree again yesterday for the 233th time. The forecast had predicted snow (from a snow storm in the south of the country), but luckily we didn't get any more of that white stuff.

I am thinking how much time a person could spend, painting the Winter tree with all those extended branches.

Such a fabulous variety of shots in that slide show. I'd have a very hard time picking a favorite. Such a perfect subject!

I already consider this tree as a friend of mine! :-) Love every picture no matter what season it is.

I have seen this set before pointed to by another site. Dark Roasted Blend I think. It is wonderful - the endless cycle of the seasons.

I enjoy this series, Steffe. The tree is looking good and your area looks like it is dealing well with the snow.

I received a request a few years ago from an artist who wanted to paint the tree using my photos as inspiration. The finished painting looked great.

My favorites includes people, horses and mist.
