Tarantino's Favorite Actress
One of the first photos I took during the Haninge day celebrations at Lake Rudan on Saturday was this portrait. This is Christina Lindberg. She was working as a volunteer for The Green Party. Christina lives in Tungelsta and works as a journalist. I have met her a few times before. She is the owner and editor-in-chief for the aviation magazine Flygrevyn. But she is probably best known as a a model, and as an actress in many exploitation movies in the 1970s. Quentin Tarantino was a huge fan of Christina, and he based the character Elle Driver in his movie Kill Bill on a role Christina played in a film called Thriller: A Cruel Picture. I took many photos at the lakes and I will show you most of them in the coming days.

Nice to talk to you by phone from Tullinge but too bad you didn't have time to meet. I really enjoyed meeting Rune from Drammen Daily photo while in Oslo and Gunn from Stavanger Daily photo met us special in Oslo, too. At the end of our trip, Jorgen of Roskilde Daily photo met us at a friend's garden home in Roskilde. Next time!
How do you charm all these people, esp. the attractive women, to pose so willingly for your photos? This one is terrific, like many of your others.
Outstanding! A beautiful woman of "a certain age." Great photograph.
That's a very nice portrait. I have never heard of her. She looks to still have a screen presence. Some are just naturals, I guess.
Here is another fun fact about Christina. She once dated the Swedish King.
Nice to see someone taking care of the community.
