The Indian Dancer
This is Nigar Ahmed. She performed a few Indian dances during the Haninge Day celebrations at Lake Rudan on Saturday. Just as she was preparing for her performance the sound system died so I got a chance to talk to her and take this portrait while we waited for the problem to be fixed.

Did they have a vindaloo available?
de beaux habits traditionnels indiens.
No vindaloo, but there was a few places that served decent food.
The variety of people in small-toen Haninge is amazing
Such wonderful portraits -- glad I have found your blog!
I enjoy your portraits.
You do have an eye for interesting people.
For some reason the picture wasn't loading for me. I clicked on the name and saw her on the Flickr page.
Nice shot.

The grand prize on most animals at the fair is a check in a large amount of money and with older beef cattle, the animal is auctioned off and goes to the highest bidder.
For an immature cow, like this one, I don't know what they get as their grand prize.
Companies bidding are like McDonald's and others and they get the right to show the animal in their ads.
A beautiful lady! Different from your normal portraits. :)
Wow, beautiful sari, lovely post.
Quite an elegant costume and a perfect pose!
Wow! She is a LADY!
