Heading home a couple of days ago I spotted the girl with the green scarf and knew that I had to ask her for a portrait. Her name is Marie. She lives in Handen, but is originally from Lund in Skåne. The reason for moving to Stockholm was work. She is a social welfare secretary. And a cute one I think. For fun she enjoys salsa dancing. As a coincidence I have met and photographed another girl here who was also into dancing. Her name was Ulla, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if they knew each other.

This photo makes me think of my Swedish grandmother! This young woman looks so much like me and my granny, it's surprising! And I am NOT saying that because other commenters have said she is cute! :-P
