Winter is after all one of the four seasons in this country

To the Snowmoped!

We've had some seriously bad weather in the last few days. With record breaking snow falls the traffic situation has been in complete chaos. Yesterday morning it was -20C and people were asked to stay home as public transport had completely collapsed. Commuters have been stuck in trains for up to ten hours, because of ice and snow problems. I could go on and on about what has happened, but if you are interested it's better that you read about it at The Local. The photo here is a moped that has been parked outside an apartment building here in Tungelsta for two months now. I'm guessing it belongs to a very winter tired teenager.

(the title of this post is from a quote by the Prime Minister).

Good grief! You HAVE had some terrible weather. But, yes, you have four seasons and spring is on its way! Right?

I sympathize Steffe. Just think forward to this coming summer when you're in your shorts riding your bike.

It is hard for me to really comprehend the situation; it seldom gets as low as 0 here, let alone minus 20. I hope your weather improves soon.

je suis toujours aussi impressionné par toute cette neige, quand l'hiver est finit, on doit avoir des surprises...

Oof, I am sorry to hear it. We are just melting down our record-breaking snowfalls but for that week, everything was pretty much a nightmare. People were skiing across Washington, D.C.! I hope there is some relief for you soon. Stay safe!

Even if he could get it out, he probably wouldn't get far! I know you will be glad when spring arrives.

Unfortunately, winter appears to be your longest season.

I see there is good side of this snow blanket: I'd like to see like this our 40.000 (I'm not joking) scooters!
