I had seen five of the bands that played during this years Trädgårdsrock festival in the park in Tungelsta before. These guys are The Zombie Space Pirates. They are fun to watch. They play psychobilly. They do feature a number of different instrument, including the washboard and a home-made guitar of sorts.

These guys look so awesome that I searched for them on YouTube. Found 'em. I think. A rock n roll blues band judging from the two tunes I heard. I'll bet the audience was well entertained. I know I was.
Weird name for a band, but fun shots!
I have never seen an electric washboard before. Don't get exposed to this genre much but I did run into The Reverend Horton Heat once. There is a photo of him somewhere in the back pages of my blog.
Psychobilly?? That's a new one for me. That bass looks almost odd with the other instruments.
