Winter balcony

Winter Balcony
A photo from a couple of days ago when there was some snow left. This is the new retirement home at Lillgården in Tungelsta. It was the snow on the furniture that made me stop for a photo. Every time I walk by here I wonder about that missing window.

A very "cool" shot, in a couple of ways. I don't think the retirees will be using that furniture anytime soon. The missing window is rather strange. Maybe the architect just lost focus in his left eye?

I like the way you composed the photo. I took me awhile to figure out the missing window. At first I thought you meant the glass was missing and then I realized that the left side was missing a window that the right side had. I was rather slow on that one and had a laugh!

A perfect canvas for un artiste de trompe l'oeil to fill in that omission.

If I climb up there with a bucket of paint maybe I could create one of those trompe l'œil Stuart.

Oh yes, that window that ought to be there kind of puts the rest out of joint.
