The crane is up

ISO 5000
A view towards central Handen as seen from a jetty at Lower Lake Rudan. Shot at midday on a darkish December day using ISO 5000. I wanted to show you old city hall, (the building to the left), and the big crane that I wrote a post about on Theme Day two weeks ago. The other buildings in the photo are Rudsjöterrassen (offices, gym, hotel and more), near the commuter station. New city hall, and to the right a building belonging to KTH, the Royal Institute of Technology.

Your scene looks rather brisk. Winter on the rippling water's edge.

The cranes remind me of work being done here.

The buildings look interesting and it looks like a pleasant city. Most places have an advantage if they're near water.

A crane but no snow...

This is a little lake but it's only a short ride to the coast and the Baltic sea. Haninge does have a very big and popular archipelago. Sadly I don't visit it very often.

See if you can get a photo from the top!

I have a flickr contact that works these cranes, so who knows!

It looks like you are having depressingly gray and cloudy weather. Sorry!

I would like to have a contact like that: taking pictures from up there must be great!
