That Old Tree

That Old Tree
Another cold Winter's day,(-7C), but still without any snow. I decided to pay a visit to the old tree yesterday. And just like Wong Ching Wah said on a comment at flickr, the frost makes the path into a white snake. It's like I have always said the tree (and it's surroundings), looks different on every visit. This is my 407th photo of the Swedish whitebeam at Välsta. Oh, and if you look in the top right corner you can see the moon.

So is this unusual not to have a snow cover by now? In any case, that frosty ribbon of a road is perfect. Bonus points for the moon.

Not that unusual, at least not looking at the last 20 years or so.

I agree. The road really gets my attention first. It certainly add to the tree image.

Quite pleasant this time out, and I like the wintery touches. And yes, there is the moon!

Det gamla trädet förnekar sig inte, lika vackert oavsett väderlek skulle jag vilja påstå. Den försiktigt vitpudrade vägen gör sig väldigt bra denna gång och får agera lite avlastning från huvudrollsinnehavaren.

A magnificent landscape. Here it's very cold, and up north there has been lots of snowfall.

No snow here in Toronto either! It's nice to see the old tree anytime.

It is always interesting to see this old tree. In this one, the white road does catch the eye, but also the light on the ground is great.

It's always comforting to see the Old Tree still standing.
