Falu Red in Winter
The cold weather continues. -10C when I took this photo at Söderbyvägen in Tungelsta. A local artist, Christina Hassila lives here, I have seen some of her work at exhibitions at the art gallery in Österhaninge. This could be her studio for all I know. A Falu-red painted building always look good against a blue sky and the added frost on the roof also helps.

I agree that red is especially beautiful with clean snow and under blue skies.
A person could create many beautiful things in a house like that one.
I really like the colour and the structure. Beautiful!
I always love seeing that red especially in winter.
I had to look up the term falu red but now I get it. It would look pretty good on summer greens, too.
And the tree shadows work great as well.
The red Swedish buildings are really gorgeous. Love this one.
Dark red looks so well in this 'cold' setting!
