That Old Tree

That Old Tree
Flickr turned ten years old yesterday. I joined in May of 2004 and it has been a fun decade. I have learned a lot about photography because of flickr, and I have done a lot of projects thanks to that site. I have shot around 700 street portraits, documented a lot of changes in my area, and of course taken nearly 365 photos of the old tree. This is the latest one taken yesterday.

On this day, that tree looks quite stark!

Your weather looks remarkably like ours. And I'll bet that two weeks of "thaw weather" is rather encouraging about now.

Another great shot of that old tree. Happy 10th photo anniversary.

Poor old tree, it needs to see a doctor about the broken limb.

So I assume you'll be celebrating your own anniversary in May. You do have an incredible and wonderful collection of photos on Flickr. Bravo ! And now you have a whole year full of the old tree photos... have you considered making a video of them ?

That is a good idea Stuart. I have tried it once a couple of years ago, with the help of an online service, but I really should try to make my own version.

Seems strange to see it with no snow this time of year.
