Bronze Age Grave
This is a cairn at the burial ground in Jordbro. Supposedly the oldest grave,it is said to date back to the Bronze Age. It is eleven meters wide. Walking through the forest/field you will find up to one thousand graves from around 500 BC to 500 AC. The weather of late have been horrible, at least if you are a biking photographer. Mostly rain and grey skies. That might change tomorrow, stay tuned!

Very nice shot Steffe. I like the black and white.
A very old, gray, graveyard!
Bronze Age sites are thrilling. Any stone circles up your way?
Oh, yes. There's three of them at this field alone. We know them as Domarringar.
this is so cool. thanks for sharing.
I have not visited Sweden, to my detriment, but I've seen lots of paleolithic tombs in Ireland. They feel very remote from our modern existence.
cool shot - winter is round the corner
Perfect place for black and white photography.
I think black and white photos should be taken of things that were originally in black and white and on a gray day, this was probably as close to that as you could get.
It is fascinating that the grave contains bones just like your bones.
Nice photo!
This would be a fascinating sight to see in person Steffe, AND stone circles also, I have heard that the stone circles are supposed to have magical qualities..don't stand too close to them on winter/summer solstice!!
Very ominous atmosphere you have captured...
