Winter Road
We had one warm day this last weekend. And a clear blue sky. Some of the snow started to melt away. Then we had a cold night, and this morning it was ice everywhere. On the roads. On the sidewalks and pretty much everywhere else. If I feel like it I might try and shoot some ice scenes today. This photo shows the tree lined avenue that leads up to the 700 year old Nödesta farm.

Stunning shot. Be careful with all that ice.
So beautiful!
Gorgeous!
A stunning shot Steffe.
Frame it and hang it! Superb photo!
Beautiful perspective of this white road!
Gorgeous winter scene!
I remember a long time ago (late fifties?) how the horse barn burned, with a lot of horses caught inside.
Fabulous image Steffe, there's nothing like a tree lined avenue, and in winter with the skeleton trees, it looks amazing!
I can almost feel the chill!
Oh I love scenes like this, nicely done. My computer screen iced over just looking at it......
Just superb!
I guess that color doesn't makes a great difference in a picture like this and probably B&W is even better...
It looks beautiful but treacherous!
Beautiful in B & W!
Beautiful, beautiful. But snow is safer than ice. Take care on the road!
That fire sounds a bit familiar. I will ask KG Lord about it next time I see him.
I might just do that Lowell.
I agree Grace, although this one looks great in spring, summer and autumn as well!
It looks a bit different in color Mr Poet. The sky was very blue. But I decided that the monochrome version looked a bit better.
At the time of the fire, there were no houses on Långvägen or Nederstavägen, so we could se the fire all the way from where we lived on Tvärvägen, just below Källvägen.
Great picture! Love it!
It looks beautiful but, if that slushy closeup of the road is any indication, dangerous too. Take care, Steffe.
Yes, snow is beautiful !!!!
Whow.. great picture!
