The Selma Look
Looks like famous author Ivar Lo-Johansson is trying the 1928 Selma Lagerlöf look and gets away with it I think. The third look at this sculpture this winter. I'm using it in the same way I did the winter chair two years ago.

Love this shot, Steffe! Please come on over to enter it in my 'Weekly Top Shot.' We're on Week #16 and I'd love to see you share with me and my readers! Here's this weeks' link: http://www.theviewfromrighthere.com/blog/?p=6115
I immediately thought of the American actress from the 50s, Susan Hayward. In my mind's eye, I can see an image of her with a fox-head stole and wrap-around turban. I have looked but cannot find an image of her online.
I love this idea of following your statue, Steffe. You are the most 'creative' of the CDPB when it comes to sourcing photographic series.

This is quite apropos. I mean, if you're gonna live in Sweden, you need a hat and shawl in the winter time. Otherwise you might get snow all over you!
The shawl and beret suits him, perhaps it could be a permanent addition?

Throw a few flecks of soot on it and he has an ermine cap and shawl.
Love this Steffe and you're right same 'look' just the opposite colour!!
It looks like he is wearing a fur shrug and chapeau! Very funny! But probably not very warm ;-)
