Overlooking The Lake

Overlooking the Lake

This is a little cottage at Upper Lake Rudan in Handen. You will see this house from the commuter train when you arrive to the Handen station, and I'm guessing that many people have done just that wishing that they lived there. Last years autumn view looks very similar.

You do this one very well, too! What is it with you Swedes; do you paint your houses bright red every six months? ;-)

The colors are magnificent. And now that I've reflected on the picture, I'll stand by that comment no matter what! :-)

Who would have thought that red and white are such beaut colours for a house. Stunning shot Steffe.

I would think the same. Both pictures are beautiful, taken from different angles, but I like this one better,

The view from the house is probably not as great as the view towards the house. But I know what you mean.

It's a classic red paint. It dates back some 500 years. Falu Red.
