That Old Tree

That Old Tree

The leaves have turned brown on the old tree at Välsta. And the birch forest down the path has turned yellow. No one around on this my 220th visit to the old tree.

I feel I know this tree even though I've never seen it it person. This photo is sheer perfection.

One of my favourite things to look at and contemplate. Trees! They are so interesting.

Hello, old friend. Looks like you're preparing for winter. As I type this the geese are flying past my attic window. Do you also have migrations of geese this time of year?

I love that old tree, the boulder beside it, and the winding road. . .great spot.

Thank you tree lovers.

The geese here are also heading south. I met a whole bunch of them at the lake today. Might include a photo in today's post.
