The Gingerbread House
The Gingerbread House. Or Pepparkakshuset in Swedish. At Nynäsvägen 34 in Västerhaninge. The architect was the Norwegian born Karl Güettler, or Kalle G as his family called him. He lived in Stockholm and did a lot of work in Nynäshamn responsible for both the hotel and the casino. This house was built back in 1912. The exterior is unchanged. If you look closely you can see a red heart at the top. Bigger photo. And just for fun, if you want to make your own Gingerbread house for Christmas, check this out!
