Lingonberry
Since my childhood I've enjoyed eating blodpudding for lunch. With lingon berries, also known as Cowberries, (Vaccinium vitis-idaea). These berries grow in the forest at Bergdalen in Tungelsta. Some people eat them with pancakes but I prefer blueberries with my pancakes. I just returned from a walk in that forest, and to give you a weather update I should have used a pair of wellington boots!

Beautiful berries. I thought they were cherries. I have not seen or heard of the lingonberry before coming here this morning. Nice photography.
Very bright red berries - bet they are good!
If you ever visit IKEA they will serve lingonberries with the swedish meatballs.
very tempting berries...
first time i heard and seen them, though...
a few days ago I looked for berries to pick in french Alpes near La Plagne, they were smaller than yours this year.
