For many years now there have been a number of big boats illegally moored at Oljehamnen, nicknamed Pirathamnen, at Tantolunden on Södermalm in Stockholm. I took this photo while on a promenade there just last week. When I woke up this morning I heard on the news that the boat had been destroyed in a fire overnight, and that one person had been injured and taken to hospital. Reading up on the accident it is now clear that all the boats will be removed soon.

And so all the frayed edges of the city slowly disappear.
If it comes to that point, you know it's just a matter of time before the authorities shut it down.
Oh my gosh it was like an accident waiting to happen Steffe!
I wonder if it was arson started by some disgruntled person.
