A day at the beach

A day at the beach
Whenever I visit Årsta Havsbad I usually sit on one of the benches overlooking the beach, and as I am a photographer I always snap a few photos while sitting there. Like this one.

I think you're confused. This photo has no resemblance to any beach I have ever seen. It's the surface of the moon or Mars. Brrrrrrrr! :)

Brrrrrrrr! is one way to describe the weather today. I went out for a walk a couple of hours ago, meaning to take a few photos, but it was so cold that I turned around after a few minutes, Spring anyone?

I must admit that I get cranky when it nears 50° (10 °C). Here, where I live, it rarely goes below 50 which is excellent because we grow a good portion of the countries citrus and avocado. While the picture is lovely, I don't think these bones would survive it well.

Happy Spring!!!

Looks like spring is on the way! It looks nice outside here but there is a cold wind today and even though it is +3˚C it feels a lot colder.

That's definitely not the sort of beach that most people think of when they head to the shore. We're warmer here but I'm with you in being ready for spring.

The slabs of ice make for a visually appealing backdrop.

I think I will wait before going to that beach.
