Anemone hepatica

Anemone hepatica Blåsippa
Another sign of Spring. Spotted near the ancient burial site in Jordbro. And I also managed to step on, and scare away a common viper as I walked into the forest for a few photos.

Lovely deep shade of purple and how I appreciate an image like this on a gray chilly day.

Nice spring color. Be careful where you walk, though. Was that common viper venomous?

Spring flowers making their appearance. Nice colour.

A very intense flower. Hepatica refers to the liver. I wonder what the connection is.

No vipers for me. Some species are quite deadly.

Beautiful colour here Steffe, scary re the snake emerging in the spring weather, watch where you step! ☺

No deadly snakes here luckily, although if bitten by a vapor you might need to go to the hospital.

They are very pretty. And I like your tight depth of field.
