With a more "normal" Winter the ice layer on the frozen upper lake at the Rudan nature reserve would have been much thicker. At the moment it is not safe to go ice skating on the lake, but I guess you could jump in for a winter dip if you wanted to. I decided to stay on dry land.

Don't you have a bunch of characters that jump in freezing water on January 1? Or something like that? What is that monumental building in the background?

We have a lot of "vinterbadare" Lowell they swim year round. They claim that it is very good for you.
