Portrait of a Hipster

Portrait of a Hipster
Took two street portraits yesterday. Can't remember when I last did that. Been such a cold and rainy Spring so the inspiration have been missing for that type of photography. This is "Mackan". Met him in Västerhaninge. His real name is Marcus but no one ever calls him that. I spotted his beard (twenty months old), and decided that it was time for a hipster portrait. Mackan lives in Tyresö (neighbouring municipality), and drives a delivery truck. When he is not busy growing his beard he enjoys motorcycles and snowboarding.

Now that is one magnificent beard! I often wonder how a person is able to eat "clean" with that mass of hair hanging from the chin?!

That beard is amazing!... and very well groomed.

That takes commitment! I've got a beard, but I keep it closely trimmed.

Much closer to a broom than a hipster by American standards.

I can see Marcus on his motor bike, beard flying in the breeze, fab portrait shot Steffe.

The disparity of hair distribution is appalling... Great portrait, funny guy!
