What a good eye you have. Could never get photo like that here in Coventry (about as far away from the ocean as you can get in England).
It will be soon May again, if the Maya are wrong...
And then in June we can celebrate Midsummer once more.
Are those the brown, dried bits of Midsummer's fresh flowers that remain on the poles? I had no idea that Maypoles were left in place all year round! Interesting.
