That Old Tree
My latest visit to the old tree. No one around but me. No signs of spring on the Swedish Whitebeam. I had a chat last week with a woman whose family owns the land here and we discussed the broken tree branch and that it was time to remove it.

It looks like it must have been a tough winter for the old tree.
This is a very nice baseline image for the old tree. As the seasons move along, we can compare how it is doing against how it looks at the start of the growing season.
It's nice to see that although continuing to age, the old tree still stands!
I'll be pleased to see that branch gone. It spoils the lines of the tree.
I agree. it is time for the branch. sad, but it will improve the look of the tree in the end.
Did you mention to the lady that we're all looking forward to seeing the old tree minus the broken branch Steffe haha!
That I did!
Despite being bare and gnarled, it has a distinct character and appeal. Great shot.
