In the shade of a tree
Cycling home this afternoon I came around a corner and there was Maya. I thought she looked like a pretty girl so I stopped and asked her if I could take a portrait. Maya is teenager from Västerhaninge. When she's not at school she enjoys designing jewellery. She also likes music and oil painting. We talked a bit about photography. Maya's family needs to buy a camera, something with a good zoom, so I obviously suggested a Canon 550D which is what I use. I have used the EF-75-300mm- for eight years and that's a decent lens I think. After this chat we walked over to a nearby lawn where I found a semi-shaded area under a tree.

A beautiful young woman with style. Love her red shoelaces!
Maya is a beautiful young lady, I'm sure she will be proud to see her picture here. ;-)
She's gorgeous, Steffe. And it is so nice to see no nose rings or tattoos!
A beautiful lady. I guess it has not gotten cold there yet. Even with tights, you will not see anyone in shorts anymore in Toronto!
She is very pretty and photogenic. I love the soft lighting you took this in, too.
She's a gorgeous young lady Steffe, blimey I wish I had gorgeous long legs like that haha!
I like that you caught such a relaxed look on her face.
You have a beautiful girl, with a warm expression and her own unique style (more natural and less forced than some of your other subjects). And, you chose a nice spot for her portrait. Good work, Steffe.
Again,- well seen and well done, Steffe! :)
She looks and sounds like a creative young girl.
I like the way you have added natural light in your image.
Another Swedish supermodel, your village seems to be full of them. Liked your Mystery object this month.
Now that is a real beauty! Both picture and model!
I'm considering to move to Norway!!!
And with a good eye for details Kate, I like that sort of thing.
I hope so Lúcia.
It's been a warm autumn so far with higher temperatures than usual, I'm glad to report.
I am always looking for interesting people to photograph, and luckily for me there are plenty of those around.
Norway you say Jeroen, why is that then? Maybe you fancy Gunn, but are to shy to tell her directly?
You find the most beautiful people!
You have so many pretty girls around Haninge! Maya has a lovely smile.
