Best of 2010

A Summer Wedding

The new year kicks off with the theme Best of 2010. For me it is always the people I meet and the portraits I shoot that are the highlight of the year. It would be impossible to pick the best one as they are all great, but here is one fun meeting. The Summer Wedding. And if you would like to see the other portraits have a look at the 140 first photos in the slideshow.

Happy New Year's Day to you! Have a great day with family and friends. You have selected another great portrait to share! You really have a knack for portraits and capturing people and their spirit

Of course! Thanks for bringing these people into our sights. No matter how much a fan I am of your amazing shots around town and countryside, it is your portraits that make everybody smile. Happy New Year, Steffe! I hope the people who wander in front of your lens in 2011 brighten your days.

Nice, Steffe. I think you are influencing many other bloggers to try to include more people they encounter. We are certainly not at your level, but many seem to be trying. Enjoy this new year.

It is a remarkablre collection, Steffe. I thought at one stage that you were attracted to subjects with piercings, but when I look through a slide-show like this, the diversity of subjects is very wide.

Lovely stuff.

How is the eye?

Your portraits are what inspired me to do the same - although not at the pace you do them :) Happy new year Steffe!

A beautiful choice. I too love your portraits but then, I love your trees and your snow scenes, I even loved your poor red eye - I do hope it is looking better today, Steffe. You seem incapable of showing us a bad photo. Bravo! Happy New Year - Jilly x

Steffe: the slideshow of your portraits were inspiring. I am going to try to do more people shots this year. I have to get past going up to strangers and asking if I can take their portrait!(:
Happy New Year!
