Woke up yesterday morning looking like this. My left eye must have been involved in some early new-year party without my knowledge. I spent the next 24 hours sleeping only to wake up every now and then for a bite to eat. Hopefully I will be up and shooting again in a few days time. Until then Happy New Year!

One time, after a 5-course prix fixe dinner at an elegant Scandinavian restaurant in New York, then the theater, I got sick in the middle of the night, went back to bed, and after I awoke one eye was beet red.
I called to go see the hotel doctor. They sent me to an office on Central Park South. He spent almost an hour with me, while no one else was in his office or lobby, which is unheard of in the USA.
His office walls were covered with photos of famous celebrities who signed the photos with great compliments to the doctor. I finally said to him, "This is a really impressive collection of celebrity photos."
He replied, "And who knows, maybe YOU could be next."
I have not had occasion to send him a photo.
My wife thinks that he must be a drug doctor for celebrities.
I hope your eye heals soon, but if it doesn't, I know of a doctor in New York you could see. But even if you brought a photo of your eye, I don't think he would hang it in his office.
