Portrait of a Musician ♫

Portrait of a Musician ♫

If you ever meet Jann Marcelo chances are that you will figure out that he is a musician even before you talk to him. Because that music note tattoo on his neck is a bit of a give away I think. Jann Marcelo recently moved to Haninge, before that he lived north of Stockholm in Sundbyberg and Åkersberga. He started out as a drummer and piano player. But today he is more of a singer and guitar player. He has a few more tattoos. Together with his sister he has the Japanese symbol for love tattooed on his hands. I found out all of this yesterday when I spotted Jann Marcelo in Handen and asked him for a portrait.

Hi, Just had a look through your pictures. The lake ones are beautiful and you have some fascinating portraits. Thanks for coming to the old unofficial Viking capital of England so often!

I love this portrait, and the faraway look in his eyes. It doesn't hurt that he's so good-looking, either!

Another fantastic portrait, Steffe. He looks such a nice, sensitive man. A person happy in his own skin.

Thanks people.

Yes, there are musicians everywhere in Haninge. And man e people with tattoos. I can tell you that Jann Marcelo has a day job as well as it can be hard to live on a music career these days.

Maybe you should work for the Swedish intelligence services...you seem to have a knack of getting information out of people! :-)

And interesting information, too. I was thinking what B Squared said...lots of musicians in Sweden!

This is an interesting looking gentleman but I don't get the tattoos of the metal stuff. Of course, I'm older than Methuselah!
