A Streak of Bad Luck

A Streak of Bad Luck

This is a girl with a bit of bad luck. I noticed Sofie with her crutches in Jordbro and asked her what had happened. She told me it was a soccer accident. Sofie plays for Haninge DFF. It was during a match that the accident happened. She was running for the ball and collided with the other teams keeper. The goalkeeper hurt her hip, but it was worse for Sofie. She broke her shin-bone. The next bad news for Sofie is that now she cant work. Which means that the planned trip to Australia with her boyfriend is now in jeopardy. But there is some good news. Sofie will graduate from Kungsholmens secondary school next Wednesday. So hurrah for that!

If she doesn't get to Australia she can always watch the World Cup on TV. Second thoughts, that's worse than breaking your leg.

She's a beautiful girl and she has good taste in music too. Vintage Aerosmith T.

I hope her luck changes soon and she heals quickly.

Hmmm... I guess all sports can be dangerous.

Perhaps bad luck...we are not sure right now! Fortunately she will heal and get to go later!

She is an absolute beauty. Hopefully her leg will mend and she will get on with her sports career.

She has my sympathy. I'm still hobbling around on my bad knee. But she is young and will heal quickly, I think. So glad you captured her image, Steffe.

I like this portrait - the young girl is a powerful person with a timelimited handicap. Hope she enjoy terminating school and look forward to go to Australia some other time.
