The Beach Girls
Tuesday was the warmest day of the year so far. I'm guessing around 26 C. Not bad for Sweden in late June. I noticed these two girls heading for the bus station, so I decided to see if I could hold them up long enough for them to miss their bus. Luckily for them that didn't happen. Gabrielle and Sofie have been friends for many years. Both girls live in Västerhaninge. After a very short chat where they informed me that they were heading for the beach, and that the bus was about to leave, I snapped a few quick portraits and after that they ran for the bus!

The beach is always a good destination, as long as it doesn't have oil.
cela donne envie d'aller à la plage ;) elles sont mignonnes et sympa de poser pour toi
Beautiful portrait - they look happy to be stopped for the shot.
They don't seem much bothereed for your 'intrusion', on the contrary they look quite happy...
I forgot to mention what beach it was. But just do a search on my blog for beach and you will find it. They were on their way to Årsta Havsbad. Luckily there's no oil spill there. Although they used to chase foreign submarines out on the bay back in the 1980's.
I guess people around here are getting used to being stopped for a portrait by now!
I bet you were their topic of beach conversation most of the afternoon.
I shall go to my beautiful beach of Castello very close to Marmaras village for twenty days.
I would like to have beautiful visitors.
