Summer Breakfast
I always eat the same breakfast. Every day. Summer or Winter. One boiled (five minutes), egg with one slice of bread with cheese. Then some Filmjölk, with muesli and in the summertime some strawberries. Weather permitting I eat my breakfast on the veranda often accompanied by the local Woodpeckers. Then I enjoy two cups of coffee as I read the morning paper, normally I drink the coffee on the stairs if the sun is shining. Have a look what the rest of the daily photo bloggers have to say about their breakfasts as it's them day today.

Your photo reminds me that when we lived in Europe we very much enjoyed the boiled eggs. That was 20+ years ago and since then we eat our eggs as omelets made from egg whites such that we avoid the cloistral ... But there are so many good memories of visiting a new city or resort, waking up, ordering a boiled egg, cracking the top, and enjoying each delicious spoon full ... thank you for the memory.
No wonder you look so buff ;-)
Routine is good!
That looks like a great breakfast...a bit like mine! I like 5 min boiled eggs too.
Very lovely photo.
I would get bored! It does look yummy, though.
Stef, That looks really yummy! Great photo. At home I scramble eggs, but when out I always order poached. . .like your 5 minute egg without the shell.

yummy i love the strawberries.
This is very enjoyable but I don't know whether I'd like a set routine.
This looks absolutely delicious. My sort of breakfast!
Sounds like you really enjoy the breakfast ritual. Nice photo & narration.
I like your photograph very much and your description of your breakfast was interesting. I like the neighbor woodpeckers part.
Brookville Daily Photo-Theme Day
This is one of the most appealing breakfasts today.
c'est presente de maniere tres poetique.
it is present in a very poetic way.
That looks incredible. Plus with the image of eating on the veranda, I'm very jealous of your mornings!
Now this looks nutritious!

Breakfast outside while reading the paper, there aren't many things better than that.
