Cross-Country Skiing

Polaris Bandana Almost Smiling Skidåkare
The lack of snow in Stockholm this Winter has been tough for the Cross-Country skiers. They need a lot of skiing practice before the big race of the year, the Vasaloppet, so when the snow finally arrived a short track was up and running in no time at all at the Rudan nature reserve and that's where I snapped these photos a few days ago.

Terrific shots! My idea of good winter fun. We've got some of that here, including within the city.

I heard on the TV last night that we have had 1/2the normal snowfall here too. Although it has been colder than normal.

Cross Country would be very difficult for me as my legs don't hold up well. Well, actually, any kind of skiing would be difficult as I've not done it since I was a youngster. Thanks, Steffe, for the link...much appreciated.

Hi Steffe, me again. I offered my appreciation for the genealogy link but now I cannot find it. Could you send it one more time? Thank you very much!
