I wonder why the two in foreground, now stumps, were chopped down Steffe, obviously not needed for the wood if they are still lying there.
Nice artsy photo! We watched the TV show, "One Tree Hill," through about 4 seasons but got so sick of it that we quit and I will never, ever watch another episode.
I have never seen an episode but I figured it would be a good title here Lowell.
If I remember correctly it was because of a storm a few years ago Grace. I'm guessing that thousands of insects live their lives in the stumps these days.
Another title could have been "king of the mountain". (A game I used to play in childhood.)
I like how you set up this shot.

Thanks people. I shot this as a panorama of sorts. Aiming at the tree stump I took a first photo and then continued to take two more photos on manual focus as i lifted the camera upwards.
