And then the phone rang

Minding My Own Business The Swedish Armed Forces
There I was enjoying a bit of Winter sunshine while relaxing on this bench that overlooks the Årsta Havsbad beach when the smart-phone rang. It was my flickr buddy Bengt who claims to be a traditionalist when it comes to eating "semlor". Which means that he can't have one before Shrove Tuesday! But after seeing a few of my photos of said pastry from my favorite cafe he phoned to let me know that he was on his way to Malmens konditori, and one hour later we were both enjoying a "minisemla".

Vilken hyvens kille! 100% korrekt, man väntar tills Fettisdagen. Så är det bara. Nu kanske han lät sig övertalas eftersom de där minisemlorna ser så små ut att de knappast räknas. Mer som något som slinker ned på en kraftig inandning. ;-)

He looks like quite a character.

Oh well if it was only a mini-semlor that's ok then Steffe 😀

I was back at the cafe today, enjoyed a meatball sandwich before one of the regulars, Hasse, decided to treat me to a semla!
