Questionable Architecture

Tower Block Hugly Haninge Questionable Architecture
Brandbergen in Handen was part of the million programme. The architect who designed the suburb was Gustaf Lettström. The name Brandbergen comes from a big fire here back in the 1940s when this was just a big forest. Around 12 000 people live here today. This is by far the ugliest tower block here and it really needs a face-lift!

It has the look of something put together in Central Planning. Rather harsh.

Yes it does look blah.

12.000 people living in there? Something must be working right!
Maybe the inside is very attractive? I love those cozy looking windows with the dainty curtains. And the building looks massive, well made.
I like it very much, Stefan.
Thanks for the beautiful photos.

It's a shame Steffe, with a few embellishments and a coat of paint it could look much better... maybe :)
