Super Blood Moon my ass

Super Blood Moon my ass
Well that wasn't much fun. I spent the last ninety minutes (from 4 o'clock in the morning), up on the hill here at Bergdalen in Tungelsta, in the dark, looking for that Super Blood Moon. I'm sure it was there but all I could see was clouds. So just before I walked back home i took this four-second exposure of the filling station. Back to sleep now I hope!

Hahaha oh dear. You're more dedicated than I am! I actually think I would have been able to see the blood moon from my backyard... and I still didn't go out to take photos...

You did better than me. It was cloudy here so I never left the house.

I'm so sorry, Stefan you could not see such spectacle. Maybe some of your friends took photos?

I was outside, on the sidewalk, watching with daughter and grandkids.
It was incredible to see that poor, defenseless star being slowly and surely overshadowed in such a way.

Take note of this phenomenon, comrades:
Not to let anything eclipse ourselves in such a shameful way like that poor moon.......

We had clear skies here as it started- and then just as the last sliver of light was there, clouds moved in and obscured it. We did get a brief parting in the clouds, just a few seconds long, to see the full blood moon eclipsed.

I was fast asleep - no regrets!

Totally cloudy here, too. We play the hand of cards we are dealt.

It was clear as anything here in Perth Steffe, yet my shots were a disaster turned into an arty shot :) might have to post it :) Your whole night wasn't wasted I really like the mood in this shot.

Well, think positive. You can catch it again in 2033! Bloody right!
