A good portrait. I do wonder what he'll think when he's sixty about the tattoos and piercings.

I got a tattoo in 1955 of two roses on my left forearm. Not big but it was pretty -- roses were red and leaves bright green. The outline was thin like a pencil line. Now the colors are gone and the outline is thick and blurred. This guy will be in the circus or lily farm when he grows up.

Your portrait photo is exceptional. But, like the first two commenters, I do worry about how he will feel about this very visible art when he is older. That is the problem with tattoos . . . they are VERY permanent.

Apparently not him, and he's out to prove it. B&W was a good choice. Tattoos are a matter of strong personal taste. I can't stand them. My children have lots.

It's what is called "a look". Nice capture.

Excellent portrait.

Unlike many comments that I read all the time everywhere, I do not worry at all for this guy in the future.
Everyone heavily tattooed or with big pieces (and I include myself on this) knows what she/he's doing. Of course tattoos will not have the exact same appearance in 40 years' time, but neither will we! It's just life.
And we'll be old, with wrinkles and old tattoos with washed-out colours, whereas others will only be old with wrinkles, that's all, no big deal!

Have a good day everyone!
