The Virgo

The Virgo
This was the first street portrait I took with the new Canon 85mm lens. This is Jimina. I noticed her outside the mall in Handen few days ago. She is a student at the entrepreneur college, Riksäpplet, and a future chef. Her interests include clothing and fashion. The tattoo says that she is a Virgo. It will take some time getting used to shooting portraits with this lens compared to the nifty fifty, but it will probably be fun.

I don't understand who or what is supposed to be obeyed.

It's a fine portrait.

I foresee many brilliant portraits Steffe, every time yourself or Jack mention the prime lens I feel I desperately need one :)

She looks like a very serious young lady. I love her hat!

It looks good. After you get used to it, I hope you explain how you think this compares with your nifty fifty.

A tattoo on the face of a nice looking woman? A shame.

You will get better portraits with the 85. The 50 is short enough that it can make people's faces bulge. You don't need to worry about the 1.4 versus 1.8 when you shoot outdoors during the day.
