Lunch in the pasture
The Björklund horse farm is situated near the iron Age grave field, and the Gullringskärret nature reserve. The only way to get to the farm is to take the Viking Era gravel road from Västerhaninge. The road ends at the farm and you can only continue on foot or on bicycle. Heading home recently I stopped at the pasture when I noticed a few horses eating dandelions. It was a very peaceful scene and all I could hear was bird song. I think this photo works well for the theme day which is Tranquility. Click here to view thumbnails for all participants

One doesn't often associate Viking and tranquility!
I'm with the horse, the meadow looks good enough to eat.
beautiful scene, I love the horse
Nice horsey in top paddock. But if horsey stays in top paddock too long, horsey get very very fat!
Oh, this is beautiful and tranquil at the same time. A gorgeous scene!
very nice choice for the theme.
Calm and mellow, green and yellow...
I almost chose a horse in a pasture for the tranquility theme. Good choice.
A grazing horse is my favorite kind of tranquility scene!
In my opinion, a piece of art.
Please have a good new month ahead.
daily athens photo
A beautiful interpretation of tranquil ... Delightful capture.
I agree with you, a perfect shot for Tranquility.
Well, if this is the only way to get rid of the dandelions, let the horses go to it!
Cue soundtrack of bumblebees and birds twittering.
Beautiful horse for theme day. Well done, take care!
Very nice shot for the theme Steffe.
Wonderful realisation of the theme!
