Ten Years Ago
The world changed for the worse on this day ten years ago. I was sitting in front of a computer with no internet access when a family member told me that a plane had crashed into a building in New York. I didn't think much about it but remember asking if anyone had been hurt. A few minutes later I turned on the TV and couldn't believe my eyes.

Who would think one could go to a car or motorcycle show in Sweden and come back with a 9/11 remembrance photo.
Cool tank!
Cool bike with the American flag on it! On 9/11, I had just finished a client meeting and came out in the agency hallway and heard the horrific news!
A nice tribute, I remember watching it on the TV too... horrified. God bless them all...
Despite all the statistics of the terrible carnage and the ill-health of some of the first responders, it is still difficult to imagine that this really happened! Thanks for the special and unusual tribute.
It's certainly a day no one will ever forget Steffe, that bike is pretty cool and a lovely tribute!
We Will Never Forget ~ 09.11.2001, may God bless us as we heal from this American tragedy.
A beautiful tribute Steffe. You are so right, the whole world changed!
I was recovering from a horrendous automobile accident and turned on the TV in time to see the second plane hit.
Excellent! Very nice post Steffe.
a great interpretation of stars'n'stripes
Beyond the horror and the sorrow, it always interesting to share the memories of something like this. Our everyday lives weren't changed much by this, but the world was...
I am impressed that you found such a wonderful tribute photo at one of the car and motorcycle shows that you attend. Great.
