The Green Tunnel
I use this old road sometimes. It is called Blåkullavägen. It dates back a long time. Just before this green tunnel you can stop and have a look at the Viking era runestone by the side of the road. The inscription reads: Sven had this stone raised after his father Rodisl. The snake on the runestone symbolise Jörmungandr. If you continue towards the horse farm at Blåkulla you can use the tunnel to get over to Ormsta and that is what I did.

It looks like my kind of road!
I am glad to be able to catch up on your greats posts.
Wonderful woodland road. Looks magical.
Great shot. Love the bending road landscape the most. It directs your eye in a direction and drag you in.
... and you get to see the light at the end too.
ah, to live in such a place!
Such amazing history represented here.
I would like to bike this road and I'm sure Lois Anne would love to run it! Especially on a hot summer day!
You can't beat nature for the most beautiful images, this is magic Steffe.
This is my kind of decorations. So beautiful.
It's lovely and fresh.
This is a delight for the eyes. Hang on to it. You'll want to remember GREEN in a few months!
