This common toad (Bufo bufo), accompanied me on the stairs for a while. After posing for a few photos it scared off the cat, checked out the water supply and then decided to hide under the veranda. Try the original size if you don't suffer from Bufonophobia!

Ha! I wasnt alone when I found the toad. My meighbour was there and I did ask her to kiss it but she refused...

Ah, mistaken people, - it's frogs that turn into princes, not toads! ;)
That's good to know jilly! The common toad can defend it self using a toxic called Bufagin.
