The latest prefab house to arrive at Kryddgården in Tungelsta did so this morning. I can see the crane from home so I know when it's time for an update to my Housing Project set.
Daily photos, portraits, and stories from Haninge, Stockholm and Södertörn in Sweden.

Interesting set on Flickr. Cultural influence on terminology can be funny. In the US, "housing project" has a totally different meaning.
What are these houses made of? Most houses that I see going up in CH are made of concrete blocks and bricks (complete with a bunker in the basement), and I had somewhat stupidly thought that was common throughout all of Europe.
I have renamed this set a few times, maybe I should do that again? The houses are made by a company called plusshus. http://www.plusshus.se/
I don't have any statistics but i would say that most houses here are made by wood.
