A hole in the wall

Thieves used a front-loader to break in to this SIBA-store in Handen in the early hours of the morning. I was out shopping for a few smart-phone items but when I arrived to the store the builders told me that the store would be closed all day. There was a similar robbery here one year ago. No one has been arrested for any of those crimes.

Armed Robbery

There was an armed robbery at Jordbro today. Two men held up a security guard vehicle from Loomis at Moränvägen at the Jordbro Galleria. The robbers disappeared on mopeds. I was in the area and decided to stay around. Took some photos of police cars, onlookers and a police helicopter that circled the area for half an hour before landing in a park. More police arrived and after 20 minutes the helicopter did another search of the area.

Another Robbery

A police helicopter above the mall in Handen. There was a robbery here just now. A suspected bomb has been found close to a school, (second photo), Runstensskolan. 240 students have been moved to a nearby school. Police has sealed off the area. The robbers took off on mopeds. When I left the mall it was closed off from all sides. I think it was a security guard vehicle that was the target this time. Bigger helicopter photo.

Armed robbery

Armed robbery at two banks in Västerhaninge today. Three men armed with automatic firearms first blew the wault at Föreningssparbanken ( that's my bank btw), and then also robbed the Handelsbanken next door. Shots were fired. Heavy smoke came out from the first bank. Bank customers and employed unharmed but shocked. The area is surrounded by police, including the bomb squad, fire fighters, TV-crews, journalists an onlookers. More photos here. In the news

This is the Pressbyrån kiosk at Jordbro Commuter Station. I usually stop here for a newspaper or something to drink. The other evening a madman armed with a syringe robbed the place. He ran away with some money but was later arrested.
