Sky Watch at 13:08

The commuter trains in Stockholm are rarely on time. If it isn't because of the winter cold it's probably because of the summer heat. Or there's something on the track, like autumn leafs or even an electrocuted rat. Or a power outage. In Nynäshamn where the Nynäsbanan rail road ends, the local politicians decided to put in buses to Stockholm as the commuters were in uproar after the latest repair job. But when I took this fine photo of the clock at the Krigslida commuter station the other day, a voice from a loudspeaker repetitively told me that all the trains were running on schedule at the moment. How about that?

Minimalistic Monday

Over at flickr I'm one of the moderators at a cool group called Blue Yonder. It's for photos with a clear blue sky with no more then one object in the photo. This is a detail of a big crane used at a building site that I keep track on.

Airline Emissions

Sometimes when I'm out photographing nature, birds and wildlife, I will hear an air plane and turn the camera towards the sky. Last time I did this I realised that I need to clean my camera from dust spots. This photo is from my flickr archive. Looking at the photo statistics this morning, I realised that this photo had been used in an article about airline emissions. You can read it the Wired Blog.

A company logo. I posted this at flickr yesterday, no one has identified it yet so I will give the daily photo bloggers a chance. I took the photo at a industrial area in Jordbro. It's a Blue Yonder photo, I'm nuts about those.

Summer Skies...

We had a very grey and misty day in Tungelsta today, so I'm posting a summer photo. Another sunset shot. From an area called Stav. Rural and filled with Horse Farms. If you want to know how grey it was here today I did take a walk up to the old oak (weekly photo project at flickr).
