Stockholm

Skeppsbrokajen Stockholm
After riding into the city I parked my bike at Slussen. Then walked up Katarinavägen where there are many old stairs you can use to climb up to the heights of Katarina on Södermalm. Some of the stairs are closed off because of the huge Slussen project. Others have recently reopened. I used Dihlströms trappor. A wooden staircase with 55 steps. I stopped halfway up for photos. As one does. Top photo shows Skeppsbrokajen in the old town with the many ferries coming and going, and also Blasieholmen with another busy port, Strömkajen. In the second photo you can see Nationalmuseum, the bridge to Skeppsholmen and the Af Chapman with Strandvägen (which I showed you a part of yesterday), in the background.
