Solna Roundchurch

Solna kyrka Medieval Church
This was where I was heading after taking the snowdrop photo in yesterday's post. To church! Which is kinda funny as I am the biggest atheist in the history. But I do like history. And my Flickr friend Paul's parents got married here many years ago, so I promised him I would swing by for a few photos. More facts about the church on it's Wikipedia page

That is a tough church starting as a fort.

It's a beautiful old building and very photographic.

What an interesting journey, both figuratively and literally! It’s wonderful that you visited the church for your friend Paul, especially with its personal connection to his family. Even if you're an atheist, history has a way of drawing us in, especially when it connects us to meaningful moments from the past. The church likely holds a lot of stories, and your visit added to that tapestry. Thanks for sharing your experience!
