The Swedish Whitebeam
We had several minutes (!), of sunshine yesterday. Which was nice. Quite warm for the season, maybe 6C, so I took a long bike ride, as is the rule. I visited the flea market at Hötorget. Took a walk along Drottninggatan, before finishing my Stockholm visit with a promenade in the old town, together with all the tourists. Cycling home, I figured that the sunset could be worth photographing, and when I jumped off the ebike at Välsta I managed to get the absolute last light with this photo of the Swedish Whitebeam.

What a wonderful way to make the most of those precious minutes of sunshine! It sounds like you had an absolutely delightful day. A long bike ride in the warm (for the season) weather must have been invigorating. Visiting the flea market at Hötorget and taking a stroll along Drottninggatan sounds like the perfect way to enjoy Stockholm's vibrant atmosphere.
This is a great capture. The light is magical.
Fabulous shot.
Your weather sounds just like ours except no bits of sunshine here.
And what a beauty of a photo you got.
Nice to see the old tree again. That IS it, right?
Yes, and the reason for the different title is that I shot it from a different angle. But I did also take my standard photo, and chances are that I will upload that to Flickr soon.
